SleepMuffs blocks some types of snoring, it is best to couple SleepMuffs with moldable silicone earplugs. The combination of the two takes sound blocking to another level!

The SleepMuffs have a steel band going through the neck section of the foam which gives it that springiness. This band can be tightened or loosened by applying pressure to slightly bend it.

To tighten your SleepMuffs align the ear holes to one another and squeeze the base of the SleepMuffs  (approximately where the zipper starts and ends). Repeat this process until you achieve the desired tightness.

To loosen the SleepMuffs simply spread them apart. Repeat this process until you achieve a comfortable fit. 

Do not use excessive force or you may damage your SleepMuffs.

To make the foam softer squeeze the areas you would like to make softer multiple times with your hands.

Also, the foam will eventually get softer after using the SleepMuffs a couple of times.

The sound blocking can be made better by adjusting the SleepMuffs to your head (see Are the SleepMuffs Adjustable? above) or by wearing an eye mask around the SleepMuffs. The eye mask will press the SleepMuffs onto your head allowing them create a better seal which will block more sound.

Alternatively you can wear moldable silicone earplugs, the combination of the two will achieve sound blocking that is out of this world.
