Sleep headphones built for side sleepers.

Earbuds ache. Headbands slip. The Serenade's pillow-soft over-ear design blocks the world out and stays comfortable all night — on your side.

Blisstil Serenade sleep headphones worn by a side sleeper

Why headphones fail side sleepers

Most people sleep on their side — and almost nothing in the audio world is designed for it.

Earbuds press into your ear canal

Lie on your side and the pillow pushes the earbud deeper. After 20–30 minutes it aches, and by morning your ear is sore — if the bud hasn't fallen out and vanished into the sheets.

Headbands slip and go quiet

Fabric headband speakers are thin by design, which means weak audio and no real noise cancelling. They twist as you turn, and the speakers wander away from your ears mid-night.

Normal ANC headphones can't lie down

Great noise cancelling, impossible geometry: rigid cups and a hard headband mean your head can never rest flat on the pillow. They were built for desks and flights — not sleep.

Built from scratch for sleeping on your side

The Serenade isn't a headphone adapted for sleep. It's a sleep device engineered around the way a side sleeper's head actually meets the pillow.

Pillow-soft ear cups of the Blisstil Serenade

Pillow-soft ear cups that spread the pressure

Instead of a hard bud pushing into your ear canal, the Serenade's plush over-ear cups distribute contact across the whole area around your ear. The pressure of your head on the pillow lands on soft, wide padding — not on a point inside your ear.

  • Zero ear-canal contact, ever
  • Memory-soft padding shaped through 36 prototypes
  • Machine-washable covers, because it lives in your bed
Blisstil Serenade neck support keeps the headphones in place

Stays put when you turn over

The Serenade wraps around your neck like a travel pillow, so it moves with your head instead of sliding off it. Toss from one side to the other and it's still exactly where it should be — no re-adjusting at 3am, and built-in neck support as a bonus.

  • Three sizes (M / L / XL) for a fit that hugs, not squeezes
  • Adjustable side pillows — tighten or loosen by hand
  • Patented design — nothing else on the market works this way
Dual noise cancellation on the Blisstil Serenade

Double noise blocking — for snoring, traffic, everything

Over-ear cups seal out noise passively, then active noise cancellation takes down the rest — the two together handle what neither can alone. A snoring partner, a loud street, a hotel corridor: turn it on, lie down, gone.

  • Active + passive noise cancellation working together
  • 40mm drivers — real audio, not headband whispers
  • 20+ hour battery: every night of the week, plus the flight home

Side-by-side, on your side

How the three ways to listen while you sleep actually compare when your ear meets the pillow.

Side sleeper questions, answered

The things side sleepers ask us most before switching.

What are the best headphones for side sleepers?
For side sleepers, the best option is a headphone with no ear-canal contact, soft wide padding where your head meets the pillow, and a design that stays in place when you turn. That's why the Blisstil Serenade uses plush over-ear cups and a wrap-around neckband instead of earbuds (which press into the ear canal under pillow pressure) or headbands (which slip and lack real noise cancelling).
Can you really sleep on your side wearing over-ear headphones?
With ordinary over-ear headphones, no — rigid cups and a hard headband make it impossible. The Serenade was engineered specifically for this: the ear cups are pillow-soft and compress under your head, and there's no headband across your skull at all. Most of our backers are side sleepers, and there's a short adjustment period of a few nights, after which it feels like sleeping on a soft pillow.
Will it block out my partner's snoring?
That's one of the most common reasons people buy a Serenade. The over-ear seal blocks noise passively, active noise cancellation reduces the low rumble of snoring further, and playing any audio — rain sounds, brown noise, a podcast — masks what remains. For very loud snorers, combining the Serenade with soft earplugs and brown noise blocks the most sound of any setup we know.
Does it stay on if I move around at night?
Yes — that's the point of the wrap-around design. The Serenade sits around your neck like a soft travel pillow, so it turns with you rather than depending on grip against your head. It comes in three sizes (M, L, XL) and the side pillows adjust by hand for a snug, personal fit.
What about the battery — will it last all night?
The battery runs 20+ hours on a full charge — two to three nights of typical use — and a 15-minute top-up gives about 2.5 hours if you forgot to charge before bed. It uses long-life LFP battery chemistry designed to keep its capacity for years of nightly charging.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You get 30 days from delivery to try the Serenade, and a 2-year warranty after that. If it turns out side sleeping with it isn't for you, request a return within the window and send it back for a refund — the details are in our refund policy.
