Final sizes are listed below.

1. Measure neck thickness

There are two options to measure your neck thickness. Please choose your preferred method below.

Option 1: If you have a caliper

You will need:

15cm (6 inch) caliper

Mirror

While standing in front of a mirror, use the caliper to measure the thickness at the mid-length of the back of your neck.

Bring the caliper back forward and write down your measurement and compare it with the chart below to find your size.

A 15cm (6 inch) plastic caliper can be purchased for about $5 on Amazon.

Option 2: If you don't have a caliper

You will need:

30cm/15” ruler

2 clothes pegs

   Mirror

• Clip the first peg at an even hatch mark e.g. 10 cm or 4 inches, then the other at 25cm or 10 inches.
• Stand in front of a mirror and hold the ruler behind your neck, roughly at its mid-length, with one of the pegs touching your neck.

• Slide the other peg, right or left, until it touches the opposite side.
• Check in the mirror that both pegs are straight and level, not angled.
• Bring the ruler back forward and write down the distance between the pegs.

If your first peg was at 10 cm (or 4 inches) and the second at 19 cm (or 7.5 inches), your neck thickness is 9 cm (≈3.5 inches) so you should choose the Medium size.

2. Measure ear size

If your ears are slightly larger than the dimensions (+3 mm, +0.12”), they’ll still fit in the Serenade, though they may fold slightly in some areas. Some people don’t mind this, while others prefer to avoid it — so please consider your preference.
